Cari Maes, PhD
Cari Maes (PhD), cari.maes@oregonstate.edu, is Assistant Director-Family Programs & Engagement Coordinator at Oregon State University. She is a former academic faculty member whose research focused on maternal and infant health in Brazil. As a faculty member, Cari worked closely with the Family Resource Center to advance supports for working families. She led the faculty union Child Care Taskforce, co-chaired the President’s Commission on the Status of Women, and now co-chairs the Child, Youth & Family Committee at Oregon State University. She is mom of two school-aged kids and a Special Olympics coach.
