I started working for Portland State in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) in 2019 and was quickly drawn in by their commitment to employees through creating a welcoming and engaging workplace. My role has evolved into supporting and leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives within the OIT department - along with leading the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. Prior to PSU, I worked in college athletics as an Assistant Athletic Director for student-athlete welfare and academic success. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from Western Oregon University. I have a Master of Education in Administration from St. Edward's University. In my personal time, I enjoy spending my time outside, preferably in the mountains with my two doggies. Beyond this, I love spending my time with family and friends, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and soaking up a variety of podcasts. I am thrilled to join such a talented and passionate Board of Directors with the Gender Advocacy and Inclusion Network (GAIN), and I'm committed to furthering the mission of the organization.
