Sarah Schwiebert

Sarah is new to working in higher ed, but has a lifelong passion for education and connecting with others. After graduating from California State University, Long Beach in 2017, she spent 5 years working in HR and staffing before transitioning to working in career services. After being diagnosed with ADHD and autism in 2020, she realized her experiences and struggles were not only not her fault, but that they didn’t happen in a vacuum- by meeting and forming relationships with other neurodivergent professionals she started to see that there were common themes and barriers that were in all of our stories. It’s for this reason that she is passionate about DEI frameworks and creating spaces for marginalized students to share their experiences and get the identity-affirming help they need to flourish.
