Power Dynamics in Supervision:
Naming, Acknowledgment, and Dismantling
This session will address common power dynamics in supervisory relationships, place them within the oppressive structures we live in (white supremacy, patriarchy, ableism, heteronormativity, to name a few) and identify ways to dismantle those power dynamics where we can. Participants will reflect individually and as a group for how power dynamics show up. We will develop a list of big- and small-picture ways to dismantling and name power dynamics.
